GKN AEROSPACE te invita a formar parte de su equipo de trabajo, a través de la siguiente vacante, ubicada en la ciudad de Chihuahua, Chih.
QUALITY ENGINEER (EWIS)
EDUCATION:
- Degree completed in quality/industrial/mechanical/electromechanical engineering
ENGLISH:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis, evaluation and implementation of all program quality aspects
- Support RCCA given of non-conformities of the process and audits
- Audit the system in order to meet the requirements of the AS9100 standard
- Organize and host roles with customer audits/surveys
- Support customer complaints / NoE
- Customer point of contact for quality
- Identifying and Sharing “Best Practices” across the site and supporting continual improvements of the site QMS
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience at least 3 years in similar position
- Familiar with the use of test equipment to verify harness assembly
- Knowledge of harness design, fabrication, and installation standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 and as well as MIL-STD requirements
- Understanding of electrical grounding requirements
- Hands on experience with harness assembly and shielding integration
- Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9000 and First article inspection per AS9102
- Reading and interpretation of end-to-end interconnect schematics, wire diagrams, and harness assembly drawings
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving methods (8D/5W/Ishikawa/Is-Is not/6 sigma/etc.)
- Proficient with APQP elements ( PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA etc.)
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Familiar with repair practices used in the aerospace harness industry
